Tofu | Seitan

Tofu, also known as bean curd, is a popular soy-based food that originated in China. Seitan is made from wheat-gluten and tastes like chicken.

Tofu and seitan, both mimicking meat in their own ways, are both great alternative sources of protein. Tofu is soy based while seitan is soy-free. Tofu is a good source of protein, iron, and other nutrients. Seitan is low in calories and carbohydrates but high in protein, calcium and iron.
